Delusions about technology are not new, but now for perhaps the first time in history we are seeing individuals having delusions with technology. In 2025, a number of media reports emerged of individuals having delusional beliefs affirmed and amplified by AI chatbots. In this talk, Dr Hamilton Morrin will be exploring how this occurs, and what we should be doing about it.
