TEDxAberystwyth 2019 speaker

Alyn Wallace is a landscape and timelapse astrophotographer, based near the Brecon Beacons National Park in South Wales. He was featured on the BBC Two “Moonshot” documentary to mark the anniversary of the moon landings, where he set out to take his ultimate image of the moon, and celebrate Wales’s Dark Sky Reserves.

Alyn’s work has been recognised by NASA, National Geographic, the BBC and The Times, among others. Alyn shares his knowledge through Astrovlogs on his YouTube channel and hosting astophotography workshops in Wales and Europe. What is TEDx?

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxAberystwyth, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxAberystwyth event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.
